Lavania is the founder-director of Dance Embassy, Tinted Wateva and Haul Off Me in Singapore, and is a Happiness consultant at KeyTeo. Coupled with a Bachelors in Psychology from Edith Cowan University, she is also a community builder. She works with “Her Rise Above” and gives free mentorship and advice to home-based women entrepreneurs to increase their business avenues and gain higher financial and economic freedom.

Shalini loves to volunteer with Her Rise Above because of their focus on empowering women to set up and scale their businesses giving them the resources, tools and coaching to do so. Through HRA she has had the opportunity to help our Risers build a business from the ground up, starting with a conversation about where her passion and strengths lie to building a brand, product, packaging, pricing, delivery operations and marketing. Tanya is a mom to a toddler and an Orthodontist by profession. She works full time as an analyst at a Dental start-up. She decided to enrol as a guide with Her Rise Above, as she wants to make a difference in someone's life by using her skills set and knowledge and in the process learn new things herself.

Food stylist and Food Photographer

Dyutima is an architect-turned food stylist, food photographer and founder of the business My Food Lens, where she helps clients elevate their brand with drool-worthy photos. As a commercial and editorial photographer, she finds a bigger purpose in being able to create a brand identity for home-based businesses and in turn, impact their sales through her work. Volunteering at Her Rise Above is heart-warming, soul-satisfying and extremely gratifying for her.

20 years of experience in the hospitality industry and entrepreneur at heart, Delphine has lead sustainable operations with service excellence and empowering culture. Aware of how the entrepreneurial journey can be paved with doubt and be sometimes discouraging, HRA gave her the opportunity to share her experience in a meaningful way, give back and find a purpose of her journey.

Priyanka is a writer, content creator, strategist and mother of two. Her work has appeared in the print and online pages of SilverKris, Her World, The Peak, Time Out and The Michelin Guide, among others. She covers topics that range from food and travel to wellness, tech and parenting. Mentoring women, set up and scale up their businesses via Her Rise Above has been a rewarding way to put my expertise to great use and connect with some talented and passionate individuals.

Disha’s main objective is to help women create a balanced life that prioritises their well-being & celebrates all aspects of their true self.

Disha understands how challenging it can be for women to start and run a business so volunteering with Her Rise Above is her way of giving back to society and being a valuable support to those who need it the most. She provides 1:1 mentorship and group training to help women through various aspects like branding, design, packaging, pricing and social media while providing constant motivation to help them through challenging times.

When I heard HRA approach, I immediately felt enthusiastic to be helping on the coaching part. Following an empathetic method adapted to each individual while never giving up on excellence is what HRA is all about: photographs, web designers, coaches, client database…all gathered to empower women towards the success of their home based business.

Abigail is a filmmaker and artist at heart. She loves traveling, pottery, organic wines, and experimenting with new artistic projects. Currently a stay-home-mama, she finds ways to embrace her love of hospitality, hosting intimate dinner parties and trying new dishes, such as homemade Singaporean Chili Crab ravioli alongside raising her son. She loves empowering women to find creative and innovative ways to start their businesses and has found working with Risers through Her Rise Above as a platform extremely rewarding.

Mamta is an award winning, growth marketing and partnerships expert with 13+ years of experience in building new as well as scaling existing brands, partnerships and businesses. She is also experienced in designing / conducting training programs and workshops. Her expertise is across Global E-commerce, Media /Entertainment, Telecommunications, Ad-tech/SAAS Start-ups, Advertising Agencies and Consulting within Asia Pacific (APAC) and the Middle East. Mamta grew up in both Indonesia and Singapore. She also spent some time in the UK, Australia and Luxembourg. She loves playing tennis, mentoring and indulging in home decor. She speaks fluent Bahasa Indonesia / Melayu and Hindi.

Writer & Visual Storyteller

Aprajita is the founder of a storytelling platform, TheGupCup. Having worked with the media close to two decades, she strongly believes that the simplest of the stories can be told in the most powerful way, when words blend with videos. Volunteering with HRA allows her to use her skills to tell the story of the Risers, showcase their products, and help them reach out to a bigger audience. Working with HRA has been an extremely humbling and rewarding experience.

Communications Consultant

With 30 years of communications, event planning, marketing, and entrepreneurial experience, Paige is passionate about sharing expertise to give Risers empowering tools that strengthen their self-confidence. As a communications consultant she works with NGOs and businesses in the sustainability space to amplify their messages and tell clear and concise brand stories. She’s also a member of Epic Angels, the largest female-only angel investor network in Asia Pacific working with female-led start-ups. Paige loves to celebrate when a Riser has an “aha” moment and begins to move towards success.

Program Manager

Lalitha is a research scientist turned program manager, who is also a mom to a 5-year old girl. She believes that everyone deserves to have equal opportunities in life and seizes every chance to empower & support other women in achieving their full potential. Lalitha is also a huge advocate for mental health & stands behind the philosophy of "giving yourself grace". Through HRA, she had the chance to mentor an up & coming riser who is now a life-long friend.
